Every used transmission from Expedia Parts comes with parts-only warranty coverage. Here's a complete breakdown of terms, coverage, and requirements.
WARRANTY COVERAGE BY TRANSMISSION TYPE
- Personal use vehicles, 2001 and newer: 1 year / 12,000 miles (parts only)
- Personal use vehicles, 2000 and older: 6 months / 6,000 miles (parts only)
- Commercial vehicles: 6 months / 6,000 miles (parts only)
- CVT transmissions: 6 months / 6,000 miles (parts only)
- Manual transmissions: 6 months / 6,000 miles (parts only)
All coverage is parts only. There is no labor reimbursement on used transmission warranty claims.
WHAT'S COVERED
The warranty covers internal transmission components only:
- Transmission housing
- Torque converter (included with all automatic transmissions)
- All internal gears and shafts
- All internal transmission components
WHAT'S NOT COVERED
- External wiring and wire harnesses
- Sensors and electronics
- Any external parts or accessories left on the transmission for convenience
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Installation deadline: Your used transmission must be installed within 14 business days of delivery. Missing this deadline voids the warranty.
- Re-flash/reprogramming: If your vehicle requires the transmission to be re-flashed or reprogrammed, this must be done at installation. Failing to reprogram where required can void your warranty.
- Licensed shop required: The transmission must be installed by a Licensed Automotive Repair Facility (LARF).
