Reflashing (reprogramming) updates the software in your vehicle's transmission control module with manufacturer-approved calibration files.
When is it required?
Some used and remanufactured transmissions require reflashing after install. Your installer should confirm using the part notes and vehicle requirements.
Before you install
We can provide a transmission installation checklist by email. A qualified shop should follow it to protect your warranty.
