Used transmission warranty coverage applies to internal components only. Here's exactly what falls inside and outside of that coverage.
COVERED — INTERNAL COMPONENTS
- Transmission housing
- Torque converter (included with all automatic transmissions)
- All internal gears and shafts
- All other internal transmission components
NOT COVERED — EXTERNAL PARTS AND ACCESSORIES
- External wiring and wire harnesses
- Sensors and electronics
- Any external parts or accessories left on the transmission for convenience
IMPORTANT REMINDER
Items left on the transmission for ease of installation are not covered under warranty — whether they were originally on the unit or transferred from your old transmission.
